Built by a lean practitioner,
for lean factories.
Salim Jasarevic has spent years working inside manufacturing operations, supporting production facilities on their lean transformation journeys and driving digitalization initiatives across the shop floor.
He identified a common challenge: while companies focused relentlessly on lean principles, they often lacked the same efficiency when it came to data management. To demonstrate the potential, he built an early prototype that proved the concept could work in practice.
As adoption grew, the existing tools and licensing models made large-scale deployment costly for manufacturers. Rather than abandon the vision, he decided to build the system from the ground up, combining a modern frontend with a cloud backend to create what would become Novent.
The result is a system that makes it possible to design, deploy and improve enterprise-grade manufacturing applications in days instead of months, accelerating digital transformation for the industry.
